Flights

Ryanair operates daily flights from London Stanstead to Tours and Poitiers and from Birmingham to Poitiers.
             Both Tours and Poitiers are approximately 1 hour's drive from Cléré du Bois.

Ryanair will be starting a new service from Edinburgh to Poitiers on 1st April 2009.

Fly-Drive

Fly-Drive prices can compare favourably with ferry travel especially if travelling from central or northern parts of the UK.

Fly-Drive can take you direct to the heart of the Loire region with a relatively short onward drive to Cléré du Bois.

Combine a cheap flight from London Stanstead to the Loire region and collect a hire car from the airport.

Flights can be taken to other cities in France (eg Paris) where car hire can easily be obtained for onward travel to the Loire region or, high speed train to (TGV) Tours.

Avis operate car hire from both railway stations at Tours.

Budget offer car hire from Tours airport and Poitiers airport.

Hertz offer car hire from Tours centre and Poitiers airport.

Coach travel

Comfortable coach travel (reclining seats, on-board washroom facilities and air-conditioning) available from Victoria coach station, London, via Eurotunnel to Tours.
